Meredith A. (Lippisch) Tata

FITCHBURG---Meredith A. (Lippisch) Tata, 55 years old, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, May 17, 2016 in West Alton, NH. She is survived by her son Joseph F. Tata of Leominster, her daughter Holly L. Tata of Fitchburg, her father and mother Hangwind and Dorothy Elizabeth (Fedzer) Lippisch of Medina, Ohio and her brother Alexander Lippisch and his wife Nancy of Medina, Ohio, and several nieces and nephews.

Meredith was born January 23, 1961, in West Islip, New York, grew up in Ohio and had lived in Fitchburg for many years. She received an associate degree from Salter College in West Boylston and had worked as a medical secretary for several years.

Meredith had a wonderful sense of humor and a heart of gold. She was a loving mother and she loved being a mom. Meredith loved rock and roll music, especially Aerosmith and Pearl Jam, and she taught her children how to love music. Meredith would be happiest on a beach somewhere, working on her tan, while her children tried not to sunburn. She will be sorely, deeply and forever missed by those whose lives she touched.

A Celebration of Life will be held on June 5, 2016 at 1 pm in the Silas F. Richardson & Son Funeral Home, 106 West Street, Leominster. A luncheon will follow.
