Nancy R. Brown (Coleman-Perla), 85, of Fitchburg, passed away peacefully at her home on December 22, 2024 surrounded by her family.
She is survived by her sister, Sandra Contois and her husband Bernie of Fitchburg, five children, Dawn Smith and her husband Scott of Fitchburg, Anthony Perla and his wife Kimberly of Gardner, Tracy Siok and her husband Lawrence of Heath, James Perla and his wife Jeanne of Leominster, Richard Perla, Jr. of Leominster; eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. She is predeceased by her husband Calvin Brown of Leominster, her first husband; father of her children, Richard A. Perla, brothers Scott of Fitchburg, Mark of Florida, Donald of Alabama and her grandson Justin Smith.
Nancy was born in Leominster on September 23, 1939, daughter to William and Beatrice (Proulex) Coleman. She graduated from Leominster High School in 1957. She was employed at the former Baystate Plastics before retiring from TJ Maxx Corporation.
She loved her family, especially spending time with her grandchildren and great children. She was lovingly known as “Nana” to all.
