It is with our deepest sorrow we announce the passing of Nicholas John Gordon Reid, 30, of Boston, formerly of Fitchburg, on Monday, August 7, 2023.
Nicholas was born May 28, 1993 in Philadelphia, son of Michelle (Therrien) Hale and William Reid.
Nick had a great sense of humor, a great love for music and he loved his family. Nick was known for his enormous heart and would champion the underdog every chance he got. He made a deep impact on everyone he encountered. He left the pain, but he also left all who loved him. Now he is no longer in pain, yet we continue to hurt. At this time, we must come together and laugh for Nick's sake. I am sure he would have wanted it that way.
Nick will be missed every day by his mom and step father, Michelle and David Hale of Fitchburg, who love him more than words can express. Nick was also survived by his brother Zachery Reid and his wife Chandrea of Framingham, his sister Ciara Rose and brother Ethan Hale of Fitchburg. His Grandparents Patricia Lamoureux and Thomas Belanger of Fitchburg, his aunt and uncle, Angelique and Angelo Garofalo of Phillipston, his aunt and uncle Sara and Eric Treem of Georgetown, his aunt and uncle Marc and Tera Therrien of Kentucky, his Pepere, Raymond Therrien of Leominster, and his Grandfather John Reid of Ohio as well as many other aunts, uncles and cousins.
We know Nick is in a better place where there is no more suffering. We LOVE and MISS you so much my son, xoxo.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, August 22, from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. with a Funeral Service following at 7:00 P.M. at Richardson Funeral Home, 106 West St., Leominster.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Nick's name to NAMI Massachusetts, 331 Montvale Ave Ste 200, Woburn, MA 01801.
