Patricia A. (Rogers) Joyal

Patricia A. (Rogers) Joyal, 86, of Fitchburg, formerly of Leominster passed away Wednesday January 19, 2022, at Fitchburg Rehab and Nursing Center after a short illness. She was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., June 8, 1935, daughter of the late Thomas Paul Sr and Doris (Weiser) Rogers. She was the wife of the late Euclide Joyal Sr, for 67 years, who passed away four months ago.

She lived for many years in Leominster before moving to Fitchburg. For three years she and her husband owned and operated Joyal’s Coffee Shop on Nashua Street in Leominster. After that she worked at the Harvest House Restaurant in Woolworths, Leominster as well as at several other restaurants and at CVS. She was a Lifetime member of the Templeton Fish and Game Club. Pat loved camping, the New England Patriots and spending time with her family. 

She is survived by her children, Doreen Arbo (John), Karen Richardson (Donald), Euclide Joyal Jr, Susan Graham (Daniel) and Steven Joyal. She also leaves 7 grandchildren (Greg, EJ, Liz, Lisa, John, Justin and Dawn) and 7 great grandchildren (John III, Zoey, Jacob, Roman, Jackson, Kyle and Julian), as well as her brother Thomas Rogers and his wife Diane of Haines City, FL, and her sister Nancy Angelini and her husband James of Leominster.

Besides her parents and her husband, she was predeceased by her sister Barbara Rogers.

Her friends and family know she is happy to be reunited with the love of her life.

Calling hours are Monday January 24, 2022, from 5 to 7 PM at Richardson Funeral Home, 106 West Street, Leominster.

A funeral Mass will be held Tuesday January 25, 2022, at Saint Cecilia Church, 180 Mechanic St., Leominster at 11 AM followed by a graveside service in Evergreen Cemetery.
