She was blessed with 5 great grandchildren, Brianna, Stella, Melia, Felix, and Isabelle. Pat lived her entire life in Leominster. She graduated from Leominster High School in 1947 continuing her education at Sargent College at Boston University, studying Physical Education and Dance.  After graduation Pat began a teaching career at LHS that lasted 44 years. During that time, she taught Girl’s Physical Education and coached Girls’ Varsity sports including Field Hockey, Softball and Basketball. The last 24 years of her career were spent as a Guidance Counselor. She was much loved and respected by those young people she coached on the sidelines of their lives.

During tenure at Leominster High School she founded the Leominster chapter of Girls Athletic Association and Co-advised it with Pauline Ciccone. The nickname LADY and the symbolism of the rose originated from that era.

During those years Pat received many honors; Massachusetts School Counselor of the Year in 1986, Leominster Citizen of the Year in 1995, and LHS Athletic Hall of Fame in 2015. Part of her community involvement included membership on the Leominster Recreation Commission, LHS Alumni Scholarship Association, and Adult Literacy Program. Pat was a lifelong member of St. Leo’s Parish.

Pat loved life. She traveled the USA with her family and the world with Ray, but she was also happy having breakfast at Tim’s Diner, walking with Chicky, or sitting in the sun with a good book. She was proud of her Greek ancestry, often baking and cooking Greek specialties. She loved spending time with her 4 grandchildren and was a great influence in their lives.

Pat always had a smile for her many friends. The rose had special meaning for “The LADY” .... And remember one petal blossoms for me”.
