Patricia L. Raymond

FITCHBURG- Patricia L. Raymond, 80, of Fitchburg, died Wednesday, August 31, at UMass Medical Center, after an illness.

Patricia was born and raised in Leominster, daughter of the late Bernard and the late Mary (Gauthier) Raymond. Patricia’s life work and passion was a substance abuse counselor and worked for the Worcester County Sheriff’s Department. She was so devoted to her family.

She leaves four daughters, Susan Rice and husband Andrew of Westminster, Laurie Ordway and husband Chris of Jaffrey, NH, Mary Russo and husband Michael of Leominster and Debra Ferrera of Leominster; one son, Robert Ferrera and wife Raonna of NH; thirteen grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

Patricia was predeceased by her brother, Bernard “Butch” Raymond.

A calling hour will be held Tuesday, September 6, from 9:30 to 10:30 A.M. at Richardson Funeral Home, 106 West St., Leominster.

The funeral Mass will follow at 11:00 A.M. at St. Leo’s Church, 128 Main St. Leominster. Burial is private.
