Patricia M. (Anderson) Rill

LUNENBURG --- Patricia M. (Anderson) Rill, 78 years old of Lunenburg, died Thursday, May 24, 2018 in UMass Memorial Medical Center - University Campus Worcester.

Patricia was born March 6, 1940 in Leominster MA, the daughter of John and Jane (Sangster) Anderson. She leaves her husband of 46 years, Herbert F. Rill, her step children, Steven M. Rill and his wife Kimberly of Momence, Illinois and Carol A. Richard and her husband Gary, of Fitchburg, 2 grandchildren, Erika Richard and Krista White, 2 great grandchildren, Jackson White and Keaton Darcy, and family members John Diggins of Leominster and Thomas Diggins of Daytona Beach, Florida.

Patricia graduated from Leominster High School in 1958. She worked as a Phlebotomist at Leominster Hospital, later going to work in the Pathology Department. She was a member of St. Mark’s Episcopal Church in Leominster. She enjoyed camping at Wakeda Campground, loved the ocean, gardening, and in her younger years, snowmobiling. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandsons, and she loved her cat Cody. She also was an avid Boston Sox and New England Patriots Fan.

Patricia’s funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 29, 2018 from the Silas F. Richardson & Son Funeral Home 106 West St. Leominster, with a 12 noon funeral service in St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, 60 West St. Leominster. Burial is private. Calling hours in the funeral home will precede the funeral from 10am-11:30am. In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to the National Kidney Foundation, 85 Astor Ave. Suite 2, Norwood MA. 02062.
