Patricia Schofield Obituary

Patricia passed away peacefully, at the age of 82, surrounded by her loved ones on Monday, February 12. She is now reunited with her late husband, Leon E. Boucher, her daughter, Deborah A. Lizotte, parents, Norman and Hazel Brennan, brother and sister-in-law Norman and Doris Brennan, and brother Robert Brennan who predeceased her.

Patricia leaves behind her incredibly loving husband, Wayne Schofield of Leominster. She is survived by her daughter, Wendy Keane and her husband, Brendan of Millis, her son Robert Boucher and his wife, Catia of Athol and her son-in-law, Brian Lizotte of Webster; as well as her five stepchildren, Dennis Schofield of Vermont, Mark Schofield and his partner, Brandy Senee Bolio of Leominster, Stephen Schofield and his wife, Angela of Gardner, Eric Schofield and his partner, Donna Chace of Leominster, and Susan Diblasi and her husband, Jay of Arizona. She also leaves behind her sister-in-law, Christine Brennan of Leominster, many nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, friends, 24 grandchildren, and more than 30 great-grandchildren, who will miss her dearly.

With many close friends, Patricia graduated from Carter High School in Leominster in 1959. Shortly after becoming a mother of three, she began her more than 30-year career as the office manager at Rockwell Roofing in Leominster, where she retired to enjoy the rest of her wonderful life with her husband of eighteen years. Her passionate commitment to Our Lady of the Lake Church and Holy Family of Nazareth Church along with her faith had not only created many lifelong friendships, but also inspired those around her to share in her love of God and her journey to Paradise. The love, support and dedication she showed to her family, children, grandchildren, and greatgrandchildren was unmatched. She was in the stands or on the sidelines for every school project, play, concert or recognition and every sporting event played. Her spirited cheering, earth shattering whistle, and overpowering clap, whether in the comfort of her recliner, rooting for the Patriots or in a crowded venue, will be so severely missed, but never forgotten.

The family would like to express their deepest thanks for the wonderful help and care to the staff at Sterling Village and Beacon Hospice who helped them through the end of Patricia’s hard-fought battle with cancer and Alzheimer's.
