Paul E. Corcoran

LANCASTER --- Paul E. Corcoran, 82 years old of Lancaster, died Saturday, January 14, 2017, in the Golden Living Center in Fitchburg.

Paul was born June 8, 1934 in Boston MA, the son of Edmund P. and Florence (Arensbach) Corcoran. He leaves his loving wife of 31 years, Janet E. (Fruit) Corcoran, 3 Daughters, DebraLee Corcoran of Marblehead, Melissa Harnish and her husband Ed of Boylston, and Jessica Chiurri and her husband Mark of Leominster, his step daughter Lori Kelley and her husband James of Utah, 11 grandchildren, Mark Chiurri Jr, Amanda Kelley, Alicia Chiurri, Taylor Breault, Thomas Breault, Roxanne Hughes, Jacob Bradley, Martin Kelly, Virginia Kelly, Eoghan Kelly and Katie Lutz, 8 great- grandchildren, many nephews and nieces. He also leaves his ex wife, Elaine Corcoran of Leominster, who remained a dear friend throughout the years and his brother in law Warren Jacks of Leominster.

He was predeceased by his daughter Stacey Bradley in 2003, and by his sister Roberta Jacks.

Paul graduated from Boston University with a Bachelors Degree in Accounting. . He was employed as the Health Care Administrator at Heywood Hospital in Gardner for over 20 years. He continued his role in Health Care Administration overseeing Skilled Nursing Care Facilities. He was a car enthusiast, avid reader, enjoyed watching old movies, and loved all variations of music. He also enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, playing cribbage and traveling. He was a Health and Fitness enthusiast throughout his whole life. He also served during the Korean War in the United States Air Force.

A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, January 21^st from 10am-12pm in the Silas F. Richardson & Son Funeral Home, 106 West St. Leominster. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to either VCA,(Lancaster Animal Hospital) 456 High St , Lancaster, MA 01523, or to NEADS, 305 Redemption Rock Trail, Princeton, MA 01541.
