Pauline (Stoia) MacLeod

LUNENBURG----Pauline MacLeod, 85 of Lunenburg, passed away in her home on Monday June 12, 2017.

Pauline was born in Boston on December 24, 1931, daughter of Nuni P. and Efegene Stoia of Brookline, MA.

Pauline leaves her children, Donald Jr. and his wife MaryJane MacLeod of Townsend, Pamela and her husband Bruce Millette of Lunenburg, Ian and his wife Anne MacLeod of France, Robin MacLeod of Ashburnham. Four granddaughters, Jennifer Whalen, Amanda Roy, Liz Lorden, Alicia MacLeod. Five great grandchildren, Michael and Timothy Whalen, Audrey and Jack Roy, Charlie Lorden. Pauline was predeceased by her husband Donald in December. Their granddaughter Samantha McVeigh in 2013. Pauline’s brother James Stoia of Laguna Beach, CA. in 2016.

Pauline graduated from Brookline High School in 1949. She worked in her parents restaurant in Brookline, then at John Hancock before her marriage. She lived in Lunenburg for the past 60 years.

Pauline had a deep love of family, friends, and people in general. Although she enjoyed doing many things, what identified Pauline was being a minister of Jehovah’s Witnesses, for over 60 years. That was her real life’s work right up to her death. Pauline set a wonderful example and was an encouragement to so many.” She was a lovely and gracious person that granted peace and comfort to all that she embraced”

Her passing touches the lives and hearts of so many. She will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Our hearts were truly touched by all the loving people who were involved in her care.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 5, 2017 at 1:30 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 130 North Street, Leominster, MA.
