Phyllis M. (Gove) Karlson

Phyllis (Gove) Karlson of 277 Water St, Exeter, NH died on October 13, 2023 at Exeter Center, Nursing Home.

She was born in Leominster, MA on November 1, 1926, daughter of Lester and Ruth (Clark) Gove. She graduated from Lunenburg High School in 1944.

She was a member of the Congregational Church of Christ, being treasurer for a number of years and the Crystalite Club. She also worked for TD Bank for ten years and before that Sanborn Machine and Die for eighteen years. She enjoyed traveling, square and line dancing, music, reading and sewing.

She is survived by a daughter, Sandra Mosher and husband Gary of Exeter, NH, two grandsons Craig and Shawn Mosher of Portsmouth, NH and a granddaughter Amy Moore of New Hampshire, a sister Evelyn Sanborn of Lancaster, a brother Hebert Gove of Florida, and 2 great grandchildren Jessica and Alexander.

She was preceded in death by her husband Henry in 1985 and a son Robert in 1974, two brothers Kenneth and Lawrence Gove and a sister Marjorie Vorse.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 25,2023 at 11am at Richardson Funeral Home 106 West St. Leominster. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, Leominster. A calling hour will precede the funeral from 10 ~ 11am.
