STERLING --- Priscilla R. (Austin) Nelson, 96 years old ,of Sterling, died July 12th in Sterling Village.

Priscilla was born July 13, 1923, in Leominster MA; the daughter of Arthur and Bessie (Eisner) Nelson, and was a lifelong resident of Sterling. She leaves her son, Herbert A. Nelson and his longtime companion Dr. Elaine Arsenault of Sterling, and her sister, Louise Marone of Athol. She was predeceased by her husband of 52 years, Hebert C. Nelson in 2001, her brother, Patrick Austin, and by 2 sisters, Bessie Wheeler and Shirley Brill.

Priscilla owned and operated, with her family, for many years, the Nelson Farm in Sterling. She enjoyed bird watching, gardening - especially flower gardening, and loved working on the family farm, especially with the animals.
