Raymond A. Moyen

Raymond Anthony Moyen, 68 of Fitchburg, passed away on November 5, 2023 after a long battle with cancer.

Raymond was born in Leominster on October 20, 1955 to Ernest and Julia Moyen. Ray graduated from Leominster High School in 1973 where he was well known for his athletic ability and love for soccer. After high school Raymond attended and graduated from Framingham State College. After college Ray went on to work at Digital and later Simplex. While working at these companies Ray built many fond memories of traveling internationally.

Raymond is survived by his other half, Valerie Cole, who graciously stood by him through life’s trials and tribulations. His children Matthew Moyen, Brandon Moyen and Marissa Fraticelli all of whom he loved dearly; as well as his grandchildren Tegan Fraticelli, Madison Fraticelli and Dominick Fraticelli. Raymond also leaves his siblings Leona Moyen, Kathleen Katzer, John Moyen, Kenneth Moyen and many nieces and nephews.

He is predeceased by his parents Ernest and Julia Moyen, brother Richard A. Moyen and sister Cecile Czarnecki.

Raymond will always be remembered as an avid sports fanatic who had a true love for the game. He will be dearly missed.
