Rene G. Senecal

LEOMINSTER---Rene George Senecal, 71 years old, of Leominster, died Monday, January 18, 2016 at The Highlands in Fitchburg. He is survived by his brother-in-law William R. Smith and his wife Jane of Fitchburg and a nephew William Smith of New Jersey. He was predeceased by his wife of 39 years Nancy Jean (Smith) Senecal who died in 2013.

Rene was born July 19, 1944, son of Wilfred G. and Yolanda (Principe) Senecal and had lived here most of his life. He had worked at Lockwood Products, Mohawk Wire & Cable and for the Leominster Public Schools before retiring. He attended the Congregational Church of Christ in North Leominster.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 30, 2016 at 10 am in the Silas F. Richardson & Son Funeral Home, 106 West Street, Leominster. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Congregational Church of Christ, 583 Main Street, Leominster, MA 01453.
