Richard Albert Lamothe

LEOMINSTER----Richard Albert Lamothe, 68 years old, of Leominster died February 16, 2016 in UMass Memorial Medical Center-University Campus in Worcester. He is survived by his daughter Erin Lamothe of Chicopee, 3 sisters Annette Persson of Kansas, Carol Gabriel of Fitchburg and Cindy Hachey of Fitchburg, several nieces and nephews.

Richard was born April 1, 1947 in Fitchburg, son of Albert J. and Edna M. (Cormier) Lamothe and graduated from Fitchburg High School. He was a U.S. Air Force Vietnam Veteran, serving from 1966 to 1969. Richard had been a truck driver for Maki Lumber for several years. He was a member of the Franco Vets in Leominster and enjoyed fishing and going to the casino.

A memorial mass will be held on Saturday, March 12, 2016 at 11 am in St. Joseph’s Church, 49 Woodland Street, Fitchburg. Burial will be private. There are no calling.
