It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Roberta Ann (Tarbell) Burchell, age 80, of Leominster MA on January 22, 2026 at Health Alliance Hospital, Leominster surrounded by her family.
She was born on November 10, 1945 in Fitchburg, MA, the daughter of the late Louis and Alice (Duval) Tarbell.
Bobbie, as her family and friends knew her, was compassionate and caring, making a positive and profound impact on everyone she knew. She loved animals, enjoyed card games with friends, frequented bingo halls and cribbage leagues, and was an active member of the Leominster Senior Center. Above all, she treasured time spent with her family. She will be remembered for her kindness, generosity, and commitment, especially to those she loved.
She is predeceased by her devoted husband of 47 years, Cameron and her brother, Walter Tarbell. She is survived by her son, Zachary, and daughter-in-law Hannah, and the granddaughters she cherished more than life itself, Aubrey and Myka.
She is also survived by her brother Ronnie of Fitchburg, and sister-in-law Nancy Tarbell of Shirley, MA., as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews, and their families.
Calling hours will be held at Richardson Funeral Home, 106 West Street, Leominster, MA on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, from 4:00 - 6:00 pm. A funeral Mass will be held Thursday, February 5, 2026 at 11:00 AM at St. Leo’s Church, 128 Main St., Leominster, MA.
