Rose I. (Armilllotti) Normandin, 88
Leominster – Rose I. (Armillotti) Normandin, 88, passed away Tuesday, February 12 with her loving family at her side.
Rose was born on January 20, 1931, in Leominster, the daughter of Frank and Eleanor (Julian) Armillotti.
She was predeceased by her husband of 49 years, Francis W. Normandin, and granddaughter, Jenna Catherine Normandin.
She leaves one daughter, Patricia Leger and her husband, Tim, of Leominster, three sons, Brain A. Normandin, and his wife, Jan, of Leominster, James F. Normandin, and his wife, Jody, of Easton, Maryland, John P. Normandin, and his wife, Constance, of Henniker, NH, 11 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She is survived by one brother, Frank Armillotti, and his wife, Darlene, of Sebring, Florida, sister-in-law, Anita Armillotti of Leominster, and predeceased by her brother, Anthony Armillotti.
She received all her Catholic Church sacraments at St. Anna’s church in Leominster. She was the first female student president of May A. Gallagher Jr. High School, a 1949 Graduate of Leominster High School and a 30 year employee for Leominster Hospital, a lifelong resident of Leominster, MA.
Being a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, friend, volunteer, gave her remarkable joy and defined her life. An admired role model for her family, she is deeply loved by many. Her selfless caring for her family is already greatly missed.
Mrs. Normandin’s Funeral will be held on Tuesday, February 19 from Silas F. Richardson & Son Funeral Home, 106 West Street, Leominster, with a mass at 11:00 AM at St. Anna’s Church, 194 Lancaster Street, Leominster. Burial will follow in St. Leo’s Cemetery, Leominster. Calling hours at the Funeral Home will be on Monday from 4:00 to 7:00 PM.
