ORANGE CITY, FL----Sandra L. (Sharos) Scarrci 63, Orange City, FL formerly of Worcester, MA. Passed away Saturday, October 21, 2017, in Hospice of the Comforter, surrounded by her loving family and her friend Andrea Miller.
Sandy was born in Leominster, MA October 25, 1953, daughter of the late Arthur and Alice (Dube) Sharos. She graduated from Leominster High School class of 1971 and studied at Mt Wachusett Community College.
In her earlier years Sandy worked at Union Products, Renzi Plastics, then for many years at State Mutual Ins. She also worked at Saint Francis Adult Day Health, UMass Medical, and Epic Health Services as a home health aid.
Sandy loved her furry companion Boomer kitty, the Florida sunshine, walking on the beach collecting shells, and traveling with her best friend of 50 years Andrea Miller.
She leaves a son, Nicolas Scarrci and his girlfriend Osha Jones of Springfield, a daughter Amanda Scarrci and husband Brian Fey of Shrewsbury, sisters Carol Aviles and husband Juan of Leominster, Debbie Matheson and husband Mike of Leominster, brothers Kevin Sharos and wife Alice of Leominster, Keith Sharos of Lunenburg, many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. She also leaves her best friends Andrea Miller of Florida and Jan Doucet of Leominster.
A graveside service will be Saturday, November 11, 2017 at Evergreen Cemetery, 357 Main Street, Leominster at 10 am. Visiting hours will be Friday, November 10, 2017 from 5 - 7 pm in the Silas F. Richardson & Son Funeral Home, 106 West Street, Leominster.
