Sharon K. Lewush, a beacon of kindness and love, passed away peacefully on April 18, 2025, just one day after her 80th birthday. Born on April 17, 1945, in Leominster, Sharon's life was a testament to the power of caring and thoughtful devotion to family and friends. Sharon's journey began as a bright-eyed girl in Leominster where she grew up, cultivating a life filled with joy and cherished memories.
She met the love of her life, Patrick Lewush, and together they built a family that became her pride and joy. Sharon's legacy includes her devoted husband, Patrick, their son Garret Lewush and his wife Jill of Shirley, their daughter Shawna Lewush and her partner Gary Williams, and her adored grandchildren, Jarred, Meaghan, Nicole, and Adam, along with her great-granddaughter Aubree Consalvo. Although she was predeceased by her sister Rose Rene of Fitchburg in 2002, Sharon's memory will continue to be honored by all those who were fortunate enough to know her.
Sharon's professional life was marked by her many years of dedicated service at Foster Grant Co., where she not only contributed her skills and labor but also formed lasting friendships and a strong sense of community. Her work ethic and commitment to excellence were evident to all who worked alongside her. An active member of the Eagles, Sharon found joy in fellowship and service. Her involvement with the organization was not just a pastime but a reflection of her desire to contribute to the welfare of others.
Sharon's personal interests painted the picture of a woman who loved life's simple pleasures. Her trips to Foxwoods Casino were filled with laughter and excitement, while her enjoyment of cruises spoke to her love of adventure and discovery. Sharon's ability to find happiness in these experiences was a quality that endeared her to all.
As we say farewell to Sharon K. Lewush, we celebrate a life well-lived, full of compassion and grace Sharon's departure from this world leaves behind a void that will be felt by many, but the impact of her life's work, her commitment to her family and friends, and the joy she brought to so many will endure forever.
