Sheila Aleman Obituary

SHEILA SIMON ALEMAN

Sheila Simon Aleman, 50, peacefully went home to be with her Father in Heaven on June 21, 2024, after a courageous fight with breast cancer. Sheila was born on December 6, 1973, to Roger and Shirley (Ouellette) Simon.

Sheila is survived by her husband of 28 years, Esequiel Jr., and their two children, Victoria Aurora of El Paso, TX, and Esequiel Nathaniel of Fitchburg, MA; her siblings, Roger James Simon and his companion, Diana, of Woodland, Maine, Carrie Strelka and her husband, Mark, of Fort Fairfield, Maine, Franklin Dale Simon and his wife, Daryla, of Cross Lake, Maine; nieces and nephews, Jamie, Keith, Levi, Jessica, Heather, Cher, Harley, Ashlee, Carli, Sarah, Frank; and numerous great nieces and nephews. Sheila was predeceased by her parents, Roger and Shirley, and her brother Ronald Steven Simon.

Sheila was a CFO at several companies in the Boston area, most recently at Specialty Products Resources, Inc., in Fitchburg, Massachusetts. She had an entrepreneurial heart and with her husband, Zeke, started their first business venture in 2009 withthe creation of ‘All That Events’. Sheila put her heart and soul into the work she loved.

Sheila previously served on the Worcester County Commission on the Status of Women, where she volunteered to provide financial education. Her next dream was to start a program to help provide financial skills to single mothers in order to be independent and resourceful.

Sheila’s love language was her generous heart of service. Those who knew Sheila experienced her passion, creativity, and talents. Giving and providing for others made her happy.

The simple pleasures in life brought immense joy to her and those in her presence. Sheila relished in surrounding herself with family, enjoying a good cup of coffee, and the early morning sunrise. Her pleasant personality was contagious to everyone she met, and those that knew her, loved her.

Sheila’s love of life did not come to an end with her passing. Her smile, her laugh, and her presence will live on in the hearts of all that knew her.

Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
