Shirley A. (Rivers) White

LEOMINSTER --- Shirley A. (Rivers) White, 87 years old, of Leominster, died Tuesday,
December 12, 2023 at home.
Shirley was born March 24, 1936 in Leominster MA, the daughter of Burt and Beatrice
(Healey) Rivers and was a lifelong resident. She leaves her loving husband of 64 years,
Robert C. White, 2 sons, Brian White and his wife Christine of Milford NH and Michael
White and his wife Stacie of Leominster, 3 grandchildren, Andrew, Brittney and Nicholas
and her great grandson Tucker.
She was predeceased by her sister Maureen Ganong.
Shirley graduated from St Bernards High School in 1953 and was a longtime cashier at
Market basket before retirement. She was a member of Our Lady of the Lake Church in
Leominster and the DAV- Auxiliary. She loved spending time with her family especially
her grandchildren.
Shirley`s funeral will be held on Wednesday, December 20 from the Richardson Funeral
Home, 106 West St, Leominster with a funeral Mass at 11:30 am in Our Lady of the Lake
Church, 1400 Main St Leominster. Burial will follow in the Massachusetts Veterans
Memorial Cemetery in Winchendon. Calling hours in the funeral home will precede the
funeral Mass from 9 – 11A.M. A Celebration of Life will follow at 3:00 P.M. at the
Leominster Veteran’s Center, 100 West St.
