Stanley I Gordon Jr.

LEOMINSTER --- Stanley I. Gordon Jr., 85 years old of Leominster, died Tuesday, July 31, 2018 in HealthAlliance Leominster Hospital.

Stanley was born May 1, 1933 in Lancaster, MA, the son of Stanley I. Gordon Sr. and Nelva (Tyler) Gordon, and lived most of his life in Leominster. He leaves 2 Sons, Timothy M. Gordon and his wife Pamelia of Leominster, and Scott A. Gordon and his wife Cheryl of Fitchburg; his daughter Michelle M. McDermott and her husband Thomas of Leominster; 5 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces and cousins.

Stanley was predeceased by his wife of 65 years, Eleanor D. (Grillo) Gordon on March 2, 2018, by his brother Roger Gordon and his sister Amreau Contois.

Stanley was a member of Pilgrim Congregational Church in Leominster, a life member of the Leominster Sportsmen’s Club, was an avid fisherman, and enjoyed muzzle loading and archery. He worked at E.T Dupont Company in Leominster, later going to work as a machinist at Digital Equipment Corp. (DEC), in Maynard, for 27 Years.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 9, 2018 at 11am in the Silas F. Richardson & Son Funeral Home, 106 West St. Leominster. Burial is private. There are no calling hours.
