Stephen E. Baker, 70 years old, died September 17, 2023 after a 3 year battle with stage 4 head and neck cancer.
Stephen was born in Leominster on May 19, 1953, son of Edward C. Baker and Marion (Blanc) Baker.
He was a 1971 graduate of Leominster High School and a 1975 graduate of Northeastern University.
He began his insurance career in 1976, eventually owning Stephen E. Baker Insurance Agency. He retired in 2019, relocating to Palm Harbor, FL.
Stephen enjoyed the occasional trip to Las Vegas and annual visits to the White Mountains and Lake Winnipesaukee. He spent many years watching the Celtics and New England Patriots.
He is now reunited with his parents and his golden boys Bosco, Busta and Bucko.
He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Linda (Lanza) of Leominster, sister Patricia Robinson of Somerset, step-brother Angelo (Jay) Bertolozzi of Sterling, niece Colleen Purtell and her husband Jim of Somerset, nephew Michael Robinson and wife Marisa of Somerset, nephew Michael Corbett of Ontario, Canada and niece Tony Bertolozzi.
Stephen’s funeral Mass will be held at St. Anna Church, 194 Lancaster St., on Thursday, October 5 at 11:00 A.M. The family will receive visitors prior to the Mass from 10:30-11:00 A.M. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations be made in Stephen’s memory to Yankee Golden Retriever Rescue Inc., 110 Chaplin Rd, Hudson, MA, St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital or a charity of your choice.
