Suzanne L. (Cocci) Melanson

Leominster--Suzanne L. (Cocci) Melanson, 71, passed away on March 23, 2023. Suzanne was born in Leominster on October 18, 1951, to Albert “Casey” and Marjorie Morgan Cocci. Suzanne is predeceased by her parents and brother Albert.

Suzanne is survived by her husband Paul, son Christopher and his wife Tamara, grandchildren Mickaela, Zackery, Morgan-Lynn, and Casey Melanson. Sister-in-laws, Judy Melanson and Diane Cocci. Suzanne also leaves nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Suzanne graduated from Leominster High School and Mount Wachusett Community College.

She worked for Victory Super Market, Army Intelligence School, Devens, Army Reserve Officer Training Corp, Worcester Polytechnic Institute and the Internal Revenue Service.

Suzanne enjoyed wood painting, quilting, sewing, making jelly and spaghetti sauce. Best of all she loved spending the holidays with her grandchildren.

Suzanne was a charter member of Sholan Farms and a member of Number Six Community Center.

Calling hours will be held from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. on Thursday April 13, 2023, at Richardson Funeral Home, 106 West Street, Leominster.  A funeral mass will be held in Saint Cecilia Church, 180 Mechanic Street, Leominster at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, April 14. Burial will follow at the Massachusetts Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery in Winchendon.
