Thomas Michael Doiron, 82, died Thursday, July 13, 2023 at Health Alliance Hospital in Leominster, after an illness.
Thomas was born on September 26, 1940 in Fitchburg, Massachusetts.
Thomas leaves his Wife, Susan (Crisci) Doiron, his son Dan Doiron and his wife Nicole Doiron of Salisbury North Carolina, his daughter Michele Ann Sargent of Palm Bay Florida, and his former wife Elizabeth Doiron of South Carolina. He also leaves his grandchildren, Allison Lewis and her husband Jason, His granddaughters Jessica Doiron and Emily Doiron of Salisbury North Carolina, Jillian Deshler of Leominster, Bridgette Leet of Shirley and a great grandson Levi Lewis of North Carolina. Tom is predeceased by his parents Medard and Nellie (Pelawich) Doiron of Leominster. He leaves his brother William Doiron of Florida, His brother Allen Doiron and his wife Dolly Doiron of Massachusetts, his Sister Linda Furbush and her husband Alan Furbush of South Carolina, and his sister Denise Breau and her husband David Breau.
Tom graduated from Fitchburg Vocational High School with a machinist trade and also studied drafting from Worcester Junior College. He attended MT Wachusett Community College in Gardner and received a certificate in Design Drafting.
Tom served in the United States Airforce from September of 1959 to September of 1963. He worked on fuel systems on jet aircraft and received an Honorable Discharge.
Tom loved Hockey and played well into his late 70’s. He won many awards over the years as a competitive bullseye pistol shooter. He also loved trap and skeet shooting, golf, boating and playing softball. But above all, Tom had a deep and profound faith in Jesus Christ and he found strength and comfort in that faith in spite of his struggle with Parkinson’s Disease.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, August 4 from 12:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. with a service with military honors to follow at St. Leo Cemetery.
