Thomas D. Rivers

LEOMINSTER---Thomas D. Rivers, 65 years old, of Leominster, died Thursday, August 30, 2018 in his home after an illness. He leaves his wife Deborah (Tisdale) Cote Rivers, her 3 daughters Marnie Salafia, Alyson Gauthier and her husband Eric and Elisha Gray and her husband Steven, his daughter Sara Flooks and her husband Rick of Leominster, his stepson David LeGault and his longtime girlfriend Lindsy Lupien of Gardner, 2 brothers Paul Rivers and Gary Rivers and his partner Jim, a sister Judy Donahue and her husband Ron, 8 grandchildren Juliana, Cody, Selina, Hanna, Ava, Matthew, Brianna and Shyla, and a great grandson Myles. He also leaves his furry buddy Max.

Tom was born in Leominster on September 9, 1952, son of Romeo F. and Yvonne M. (LeBlanc) Rivers and was a life long resident. He graduated from Leominster Trade High School in 1972 and was a longtime truck driver, most recently worked at Catania Oils in Ayer. Tom was amember of St. leo's parish in Leominster. He was well known for his hot rods he built and was a Harley enthusiast. Tom also enjoyed spending time with his wife watching the Boston Red Sox.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 7^th at 11 am in the Silas F. Richardson & Son Funeral Home, 106 West Street, Leominster. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, Leominster. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, September 6^th from 6-8 pm in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Brain Tumor Association, 8550 W.
