Victor C. Valeri, 92, a lifelong resident of Leominster, MA, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on February 13, 2026. He was born on November 12, 1933, in Leominster, MA, the son of Giuseppe and Elvira (Di Giammarino) Valeri. Victor was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 65 years, Dolores J. (Charette) Valeri, and his siblings Orlando, Rocco, Leo, Augusto, Fiorindo Valeri, and Viola Godin.
He is survived by his children Pamela Hebert and her husband Ricky of Leominster, Michael Valeri and his wife Theresa of Orange, Bonnie Fluet and her husband Michael of Leominster, Richard Valeri and fiancé Cinda Pittman of Ballston Spa, NY, Stephen Valeri and his wife Jennifer of Williamsville, NY, Christopher Valeri and his wife Ramona of Danville, NH, and Andrew Valeri and his wife Karen of Leominster. He will forever be Papa to his 16 grandchildren, Elizabeth Murphy, Michael Fluet, Rebecca Nieves, Kristen Bronger, Jonathan Hebert, Sara Quinn, Thomas Valeri, Philip Valeri, Stephen James Valeri, Joshua Valeri, Caleb Valeri, David Jackson, Jenny Coeur, John Hamel, Lisa Hamel, and Scott Hamel, 24 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren. Spending time with them and keeping up with all their activities and adventures. He also leaves many nieces and nephews.
Victor worked in the food industry, employed by First National Stores and Victory Market, retiring in 1997. Vic will be remembered as a kind, hardworking, and humble man who loved and was loved by his large family. He enjoyed his home, sitting and raking in his backyard, playing the piano, big band, and country music. He was a #1 fan of the Garage Boys band. He also enjoyed telling stories around the dining room table, telling a good joke, playing poker with his boys, and the company of his cats. Many will miss having a visit and coffee with Vic.
A funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Cecilia’s Church, 180 Mechanic Street, Leominster. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery immediately following the service.
