Leominster—Wayne C. Bartlett, 78, died on January 8, 2024.
Wayne was born May 28, 1944 in Leominster, son of Roger and Ruth (Reekie) Bartlett.
Wayne is predeceased by both parents, and brother-in-law Russell Frederick. He is survived by his brother Roger Bartlett and wife Elaine of Townsend, his sister Gail with whom he lived, sister Janice and her husband John of Brooksville, Fl.
Wayne was a loving and caring person who loved his family and adored his dog, Bella. He enjoyed spending time with his brother Roger and watching the Red Sox together. He loved dinners with his sister Gail on Friday nights and also when his sister Janice would visit. Wayne was an amazing brother to his 3 siblings; he had a quick wit about him and was always the first to crack a joke. He loved the holidays especially, Thanksgivings at his nieces house and Christmas eves at his nephews house. He is remembered as the teenager who was always playing baseball (wiffle ball) with his brother. He was an amazing uncle to all 12 nieces and nephews and also had several great nieces and nephews. Wayne also had a love for the Red Sox and Patriots, but the Browns were his #1 team and he was looking forward to their upcoming game this weekend. He lived in the family home to make sure his mother could stay in her home and he was always there to help out her and his siblings with whatever they needed. Wayne will be missed very much.
