It is with heavy hearts and profound respect that we announce the passing of Wayne Tourigny, a cherished husband, brother, uncle, and friend, who departed this life on May 18, 2026, at the age of 67. Wayne left this world peacefully, surrounded by the love of his family, after bravely facing an illness with courage and dignity. Born on May 15, 1959, in Leominster, Massachusetts, Wayne was the beloved son of Armand and Claire Tourigny (Prince).

His formative years were spent in a loving household where he developed a zest for life and a passion for bringing joy to those around him. Wayne shared a beautiful life with his devoted wife of 45 years, Karen Tourigny (Blake). Their enduring partnership was a testament to love’s strength and resilience. Together, they built a home filled with warmth, laughter, and hospitality, a place where family and friends were always welcome.

Wayne was the heart of every gathering; known for his culinary talents and the delight he took in cooking and barbequing. He was a homebrewing enthusiast, crafting his favorite beers that were always a hit at celebrations. His love for travel frequently led him to the beach, a place he cherished for its tranquility and beauty. Wayne also had a passion for playing guitar while surrounded by his friends & family.

Wayne was a man of extraordinary warmth and generosity, with a smile that could light up a room. His ability to make everyone feel welcome and valued was a true gift, leaving an indelible mark on all who knew him.

He was predeceased by his brother, Larry Tourigny, and is survived by a loving family that includes his sister, Karen Hastings (Tourigny), his brother, Gary Tourigny, and his sister-in-law, Joanne Tourigny (Johnson). He also leaves behind his sister-in-law, Andrea Fields (Blake) and her husband John Fields, along with Wayne Blake and Jeffrey Blake. Wayne was a cherished uncle to numerous nieces and nephews, and a dear friend and colleague to many.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Mass General Hospital for their compassionate and attentive care during Wayne's final days. Wayne’s legacy will continue to live on through the countless lives he touched with his kindness, humor, and unwavering spirit.

A gathering will be held to honor Wayne’s memory, where stories will be shared, and his favorite songs will play, a fitting tribute to a life well-lived.
