LEOMINSTER----William “Bill” Robert Aho, 65, of Leominster MA passed away in his home on February 28th, 2018.
Bill was born on February 24, 1953 in Fitchburg, MA, the son of Francis and Dorothy (Deery) Aho and resided in Leominster for the majority of his life. He spent three years in the Air Force, before becoming a lifelong mechanic and then retiring. Bill enjoyed traveling and was especially fond of Florida and Maine. His passion in life included taking cruises, being in the outdoors, fishing, watching the Patriots, and spending time with friends and family. His family, especially his two grandsons were his pride and joy and lifted him up during his difficult moments.
He is survived by his two children, Kristen (Aho) Knoblock and boyfriend John Szaban of Woodbridge, VA and Robert Aho and girlfriend Julie Wilkinson of Gardner; five siblings, Francis “Buddy” Aho of New Ipswich, NH, Margaret “Peggy” Aho of So. Lancaster, Patricia (Aho) Marquis of Leominster, Debra (Aho) Thibault of Clinton, and Laura (Aho) Caron of Fitchburg; two grandsons, Bryce Knoblock of Port Richey, FL and Greyson Szaban of Woodbridge, VA; many cousins, nieces and nephews; one uncle, William Aho of Florida; one aunt, Marion Luchford of Leominster.
We will be holding a Celebration of Life for him on Monday, March 5th, 2018 at 1 pm and it will be held at the British American Club located at 1 Simonds Rd. Fitchburg, MA.
