LEOMINSTER -- John Faiola (Johnny Five), 51 years old, died suddenly on Wednesday, January 4, 2017.

John was born on July 7, 1965 in Leominster, MA the son of Giulio and Angela (Baggio) Faiola, and lived in this area all of his life. He was a loving father to Jessica Faiola and loving grandfather to Danaca Frades. Johnny was bigger than life with a jolly infectious laugh, a kind heart and a smile that lit up the room. He was employed at MCI Shirley Correctional Facility as a Correctional Officer from 1988 until 1999. He lived his life for his daughter (his best friend) and adored his granddaughter. As a young man he was an avid boxer and most recently enjoyed going to Foxwoods and playing poker. He graduated from Leominster high school in 1984 and graduated from Mount Wachusett Community College in 1986 earning an Associate’s Degree in Criminal Justice. He leaves his daughter, Jessica Faiola, his granddaughter Danaca Frades; two sisters, Julie (Faiola) Ristuben and Chiara Faiola-Williams; two brothers, Lino Faiola and Anthony Faiola; nieces and nephews Cristie Misquez, Craig Ristuben, Morgan Faiola-Williams, Adam Faiola and Ashton Faiola.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday 5-7 P.M., January 12, 2017 in the Silas F. Richardson & Son Funeral Home, 106 West St., Leominster. A funeral Mass will be held at 10 A.M., on Friday, January 13, 2017 in St. Anna's Church, 194 Lancaster St., Leominster followed by a burial in St. Bernard Cemetery, off St. Bernard St., Fitchburg.

I am so sorry for your loss. John was a great guy. I know what he means to you and what you mean to him. He will be truly missed. Just know how proud he is of you Jessie. He loved you more than anything in this world. He will always be there for you. Watching over you with that huge smile of pride and love.
