STERLING--- Judith A. (Blake) DesRoche, 73 years old of Sterling, formerly of Dracut, died Friday, March 24, 2017 in her home after an illness. She is survived by her husband of 50 years Normand J. DesRoche; son Scott DesRoche and his wife Alison of Northboro; daughter Debra Pothier and her husband Rob of Leominster; 5 grandchildren Ashley Pothier, Zoley Pothier, Zamora Pothier, Zariha Pothier and Zachary DesRoche; 2 sisters Joyce Sanborn and her husband Steve of Newburyport, their 3 children Kelly Sanborn, Krissy Temple and Katie Sanborn; and Linda Polanski and her husband Alan of North Hampton, NH, their 3 children Brian Polanski, Brad Polanski and Courtney Polanski.
Judith was born May 22, 1943 in Methuen, daughter of Wessel and Lorraine (Matthews) Blake and had lived in Dracut, before moving to Sterling 13 years ago. She had been a Dental Assistant for over 10 years for Dr. Guirard. Judith enjoyed doing yoga in Sterling and Holden, knitting, sewing and quilting. She loved to travel and especially loved babysitting her grandchildren.
Judith’s funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 29th from the Silas F. Richardson & Son Funeral Home, 106 West Street, Leominster with a mass at 11 am in Holy Family of Nazareth Church, 750 Union Street, Leominster. Burial will be in St. Cecilia’s Cemetery, Leominster. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, March 28th from 5-7 pm in the funeral home.
